Show your support for secular education with a SEN t-shirt!

 

The Secular Education Network has been helping parents deal with schools over religious instruction and all sorts of religious biases since 2012. ~40% of primary and intermediate schools run single faith religious instruction and many more schools at all levels have regular intrusions by evangelists. This has to stop. With a legal battle under way it's time to get the issue widely talked about so that we can take back our schools from the preachers and return it to registered teachers. 

 

Start a conversation, let people know there's help out there, and get the issue noticed.

 

For too long the Ministry of Education has kept a lid on the issue of religious discrimination in schools: forced indoctrination and religious practices on children regardless of their family background. But New Zealand is changing and no longer willing to put up with this or the mistreatment that religious segregation leads to just so that evangelicals can use our state schools as their "mission field". 

 

$5 from the sale of every item goes to our legal battle at the Human Rights Review Tribunal. 

Please help us in the fight to end religious discrimination in our schools. Wear your shirt proudly and get people talking about it - and remember, there are already religious schools, but without a secular education system there is nowhere left where all kids are equally welcome and religion isn't foisted on them.
